For Autism & Special Ed Classrooms

The Autism Classroom Toolkit
11 teacher-ready tools adapted for special education classrooms — behavior, safety, and communication supports from a SPED-certified teacher and ABA practice leader.
Three Ways, Every Product
Differentiation should not mean double work — or three separate tests. One standard, one class, three on-ramps:
Core
- Full rigor, full question count
- The standard as written — TEKS / NGSS
- Complete answer keys with feedback
Scaffolded (SPED & EB)
- Reduced choices, simpler language, same goals
- Sentence frames and word banks
- Key-terms glossaries with Spanish cognates
- Illustrated supports on student pages
Honors Extension (GT)
- Deeper, not more — analysis, design, argument
- Challenge problems with worked keys
- Rebuttal-level CER for advanced writers
Same standards. Every student starts together.
About Tedrick Holmes
I'm Tedrick (Ted) Holmes — a Texas classroom teacher, education leader, and retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class. I currently teach 7th-grade science in Aldine ISD (Houston), and I build every resource in this store for the real classroom: tested with real students, answer keys always included, and every student resource differentiated three ways — Core, Scaffolded (SPED & EB supports), and Honors Extension for GT/honors learners.
Before the classroom, I led education work at the state and district level — Director of Innovative Career & Technical Education Programming at the Louisiana Department of Education, Regional Director of Operations for IDEA Public Schools, and founder of a Houston charter school project. I'm a Teach For America Houston 2024 Corps Member and a Broad Center Resident. I also serve as Chief Operating Officer of Au-Some Teacher ABA Services, supporting students with autism and their families — work that shapes how seriously this store takes special education and emergent bilingual learners.
Education & credentials:
- M.Ed., Learning Design and Technology — Texas A&M University (2022)
- M.Ed., Educational Leadership — The Broad Center (2020)
- M.A., Management and Leadership — Liberty University (2016)
